The hotel is conveniently located just off the motorway, making it a great stop for travelers en route to Glasgow or Edinburgh. The rooms, recently refurbished, though spacious, faced some noise and cooking smells from the adjacent garage and kitchen vent. The service was welcoming and attentive, with cheery staff observing all necessary precautions. Dining was first-class with beautifully presented and tasty meals.

The service was extremely friendly and helpful from checking in to checking out, making us feel really welcome. The hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable with all facilities, the food was absolutely delicious and plentiful with very attentive staff. Parking was no problem with plenty of space, and the owner has put a lot of thought and work into making guests feel so welcome. The rooms were spotless, well decorated, and comfortable, offering great value for money. However, there were slight delays in the dining service. The location was very pleasant, great for an overnight stop on a journey to the north of Scotland, and the modern decoration added to the overall positive experience.
