The Townhead Hotel, Lockerbie

The hotel is conveniently located just off the motorway, making it a great stop for travelers en route to Glasgow or Edinburgh. The rooms, recently refurbished, though spacious, faced some noise and cooking smells from the adjacent garage and kitchen vent. The service was welcoming and attentive, with cheery staff observing all necessary precautions. Dining was first-class with beautifully presented and tasty meals.

The hotel rooms were lovely, warm, and clean; I would definitely stay again. They were perfect with all the facilities needed, spotless, well-decorated, comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped. The service was extremely friendly and helpful from checking in to checking out, making us feel really welcome. The location was comfortable, clean, and friendly, perfect for where we needed to be, and very pleasant overall. The dining experience was excellent and plentiful, with lovely staff. The facilities were well done, providing a delightful stay at great value for money.

Parking was no problem with plenty of space, and the owner has put a lot of thought and work into making guests feel so welcome.
